This is a Ristretto Post [Short and Intense]:
This is what the results of the latest Data Driven 2024 study prepared by the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, Insightlab and CustomerTrigger reflect. (Source in Spanish: Diario Financiero)

The seventh edition of the study, which analyzed five dimensions—trust, practices, progress, regulatory limitations, and investments—shows mixed results.
On the one hand, it was noted that only 21.8% of respondents indicated they were aware of the bill amending Law No. 19.628 on the protection of personal data. This low figure could hinder the strategies of companies that rely on data as a key asset.
On the other hand, there is very good news: half (50.3%) of organizations are reaching “advanced” and “very advanced” levels of data-driven practices, indicating that there is still considerable room for sectors to take the use of their data seriously as a competitive strategy in the future.
